The Outreach Specialist, PAV position involves identifying and interviewing participants, assessing their needs during street-level/shelter outreach, and facilitating program intake. This role requires coordinating intake appointments, covering walk-in hours, and networking with community members and the VA to market the program and inform staff of changes. The specialist will provide information, referrals, and follow-up assistance, and collaborate with Primavera staff and community partners on participant needs. Responsibilities also include serving as backup for apartment habitability inspections, developing outreach schedules, maintaining an outreach log, adhering to SSVF Program policies, and establishing confidential assessment files. The role assists Resource Specialists in meeting grant and program requirements, attends outreach events and relevant meetings, reports emergencies to leadership, and performs other duties as assigned. A key aspect is demonstrating adherence to Primavera’s guiding principles of integrity, respect, accountability, compassion, and leadership.
