The Outreach Senior Advisor serves as the key subject matter expert for the District on a particular outreach topic, such as micro and macroeconomics, financial capability, money and banking, business education, curriculum instruction/learning management applications, or museum curation and design. This role requires strategic agility and quality decision-making to support senior leadership in developing a comprehensive strategy for outreach topics, encompassing research, content development, programming, and other initiatives. The advisor is expected to independently execute strategy, monitor, measure, and report outcomes. Key responsibilities include fostering strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders, designing and communicating content to enhance understanding of the Bank and the System’s mission, and developing rigorous, developmentally appropriate content, applications, and resources. The position also involves producing highly specialized and original materials for Bank and System publications, leading small teams for public programs, and supporting Bank or branch museum collections, exhibits, and tour programs. The Senior Advisor represents the Bank and outreach function on District and System work groups and projects, operating with little guidance in their area of expertise.
