About The Position

This role exists to help people advance in their journey with Christ in Tulsa, America, and the World. Whether you're leading teams, crafting meaningful experiences, or working behind the scenes, your role at BattleCreek Church makes an eternal impact! The Outreach Project Manager will play a crucial role in expanding our reach and impact within the Tulsa community and abroad. As the Assistant Director of Outreach, you will collaborate with the Director of Outreach to develop and implement strategic initiatives that foster engagement and build strong relationships with our local partners as well as developing new opportunities to love on all of God’s people, in all seasons of life.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (but it is not required)
  • Experience working in the non-profit sector, specifically in missions and outreach is a plus.
  • Aligns with the vision and mission of BattleCreek Church
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Strong computer skills with a proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
  • Enjoys building relationships and have a high level of customer service
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Takes ownership of their own development
  • Communicates and listens well
  • Bilingual is a plus
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally is required, up to 30% travel
  • Ability to navigate working with teams from various countries and cultures

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the communication and maintaining of healthy relationships with both our local partners of BattleCreek partners to serve the Tulsa community
  • Assist the Director of Outreach in the planning and execution of internal missions trips.
  • Assist in the processing of benevolence applications and requests
  • Manage all aspects of the CarePortal outreach to meet the needs of the Tulsa community.
  • Communicate with, train, and equip our CarePortal teams (response teams, volunteers, campus leaders)
  • Assists our Connections Ministers at their campuses, posting a need on CarePortal, partnering for events, and helping identify local outreach partners.
  • Perform other church duties as assigned by Director of Outreach to help all people of all ages all the time advance in their journey with Christ
