About The Position

The Outreach Assistant will perform a variety of tasks and support the Outreach and Development Departments at CHS.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree (AA or AS) in related field plus one year of related work experience or any combination of education and experience to equal three years.
  • Knowledge of appropriate software and platforms including Microsoft Office or similar.
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of personal valid vehicle insurance.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

  • Supports Outreach and Development team with special events and campaigns.
  • Collaborates with cross‑functional teams to support the implementation of the organization’s brand and vision.
  • Assists in maintaining Outreach supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing, and expediting orders for supplies.
  • Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
  • Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
  • Promotes a positive safety culture to make CHS a safe place in which to work.
  • Safe work practices and policies for this position shall be reviewed and followed.
  • Completes training as stated by CHS policy HRD-P-022 – Training.
