About The Position

The Outreach and Career Transition Services (OA/CTS) Director plans, directs, and supervises the activities of the OA and Career Transition Services Programs. This includes ensuring proper planning, scheduling, and effective implementation of all activities within these program areas. The role involves preparing and submitting required reports, ensuring proper records on student progress are maintained by the department, and ensuring case notes and Personal Career Development Plans (PCDPs) are up to date per PRH (Performance Review Handbook). The Director adheres to cohort enrollment, case management efforts, and career transition services for two industry clusters: Health Care and Construction. Additionally, the role involves assessing personnel promotions, transfers, and merit evaluations within the department, and conducting and preparing performance appraisals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, business, communications, or closely related field, and two years related supervisory experience OR Associate’s degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, business, communications, or closely related field, and four years related supervisory experience.
  • Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree and expansive experience with disadvantaged youth.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities
