About The Position

Northeast Family Services (NFS) is seeking an Outpatient Therapist to join their growing team. NFS is a premier provider of behavioral health services in the region, offering competitive rates and incentives for on-site outpatient services across five locations in Massachusetts. Therapists work collaboratively with clients to help them identify their strengths and reach their full potential through various therapeutic approaches including individual, couple, family, and group psychotherapy. The role offers flexible scheduling with options for 5 to 30-hour work weeks, with both full-time salaried and hourly fee-for-service (FFS) positions available. Clinicians are W-2 employees, ensuring stable compensation even for full-time roles when clients cancel.

Requirements

Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field required
Will have Independent Clinical License within 2 years
Requires excellent time-management skills with ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to manage one's own schedule with client outreach.

Access to a laptop or CPS, high speed secure internet, and a phone required for FFS positions
Access to high speed secure internet required for Full Time positions

Nice To Haves

Able to work in one of our 5 Massachusetts office locations: North Andover, Dorchester, Fall River, Worcester, West Springfield

Responsibilities

Provide individual, couples, family, and/or group therapy
Conduct intake assessments and determine appropriate levels of care
Develop personalized treatment plans that create real change
Coordinate care with families, medical providers, and community partners
Maintain documentation in our user-friendly EHR system
Participate in case consultations and team meetings as needed
Provide crisis intervention and therapeutic support when necessary
