About The Position

The Clinician is an important member of our multi-disciplinary team, providing comprehensive assessments, individual, group counseling, family counseling, and other treatment modalities within an evidence-based framework. This role requires strong clinical judgment in assessment, application of diagnostic criteria, clinical formulations, and sound triage decisions. The Clinician actively contributes to the treatment center and organization through on-going collaborative efforts and participates as an active member of an interdisciplinary treatment team, developing and implementing client-centered treatment plans and goal setting for serviced individuals. Compliance with required productivity requirements set forth by immediate supervisor is necessary. Transporting individuals served is a requirement.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in a related field.
  • Valid, unrestricted Georgia Driver’s License.
  • Must obtain job-related license ( LPC, LCSW, LMFT) and/or certification ( CAC, CADC, etc.), within 2-2.5 years of employment.
  • CPR/First-aid/AED certification.
  • Keyboard proficient with basic computer and typing skills.
  • Any male applicant between 18 and 26 years of age must present proof of having registered with the Selective Service as required by federal and state law, or of being exempt from such registration.

Nice To Haves

  • Current licensure as a Master’s level Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist or Licensed Professional Counselor by Georgia Composite Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapist.
  • Two years’ work experience in social services delivery (case management, outreach, prevention/education, individual assessments, counseling) that includes experience providing individual and group services to individuals with co-occurring disorders.
  • Computer proficient and have the ability to multi-task.
  • Experience working in mental health and experience conducting groups.
