About The Position

Since 2003, Carolina Outreach has been assisting children, families, and adults across North Carolina with their behavioral health needs. We are a group of highly trained behavioral health professionals dedicated to promoting the emotional and physical well-being of our community in a safe and respectful environment. We provide a comprehensive and integrative array of behavioral health services and supports for people of all ages with varying levels of need, utilizing an equitable and inclusive approach. We focus on helping our clients tap into and develop their inherent strengths with the goal of supporting the highest quality of life possible for all we serve. We are actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Therapist to join our team full-time. This role is essential to our mission, providing therapy, crisis support, and service coordination for mental health clients in a variety of settings. As a Licensed Therapist with Carolina Outreach, you will lead assessments, design therapeutic interventions, and collaborate closely with a team to deliver responsive, person-centered care that empowers clients to achieve their mental health and independent living goals. We are seeking a Full-time Licensed Outpatient Therapist to provide individual and family therapy to clients aged three years and older. In this role, you will collaborate with clients and their families or natural supports to assess strengths and needs, develop treatment plans, and deliver tailored therapy services. Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Must hold a current mental health license in North Carolina (e.g., LCSW/A, LCMHC/A).

Nice To Haves

  • Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial Comprehensive Clinical Assessments to determine diagnoses and treatment needs.
  • Recommend appropriate treatment modalities and evidence-based practices.
  • Provide individual and family therapy services directly, or facilitate referrals as necessary.
  • Collaborate with clients and their families to assess strengths, identify needs, and set treatment goals.
  • Assist families with planning, developing, and implementing treatment and ancillary services.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records, including service notes, treatment plans, and assessment tools.
  • Regularly review and assess treatment progress to ensure goals are being met.
  • Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy sessions
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with care teams as needed
  • Maintain compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards
  • Participate in supervision (if applicable based on licensure level)
