The BHS Clinical Specialist will provide comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessment, treatment planning, and clinical services in accordance with Behavioral Health Services programming, agency standards and evidence-based practice delivery. The Clinical Specialist should be proficient in conducting interviews and diagnostic assessments, administering and scoring psychometric assessments, and providing ongoing treatment utilizing KVC KY evidence-based practice models and based on assessed clinical need. Clinical Specialists must participate in initial and ongoing training and consultation activities as required to implement evidence-based practices and must adhere to the requirements and fidelity monitoring activities outlined by the model. Clinical Specialists must be willing to provide assessment and treatment services in home, school, and community-based settings as well as via telehealth in a trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and strengths-based manner. The Clinical Specialist must have a master's degree in Social Work (or other related field) with the ability to provide clinical services in Kentucky. The Clinical Specialist must be able to be independently licensed or provisionally licensed and under the supervision of a licensed provider.
