About The Position
Rolling Hills is looking for a dynamic PHP/IOP Therapist to join our Outpatient Team. The PHP/IOP Therapist is responsible for providing group counseling services in outpatient programming. The Therapist provides appropriate crisis intervention as necessary, provides psycho-educational group exercises, and demonstrates an ability to form therapeutic relationships. Hours for this position are Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in the Behavioral Health Field (e.g. Counseling, Social Work, Psychology) REQUIRED
- Current HWC and CPR Certification (Training will be provided)
- Current Tennessee Driver’s License
- Experience in providing individual and group counseling to individuals in a psychiatric treatment setting
- Excellent telephone etiquette and tact
- Ability to interact effectively with persons of widely diverse roles, backgrounds, cultures, and socio-economic classes, those in crisis or resistant or negative toward organization
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Basic data entry skills preferred
- Organizational, time management, problem solving, crisis management skills necessary
- Flexibility, creativity, and ability to manage stress necessary
