About The Position
Envision Counseling, an ncgCARE partner, is seeking an Outpatient Therapist to join their team. This role involves leading critical aspects of client care, including case management, crisis intervention, psychological evaluations, and wraparound team support. The Outpatient Therapist will provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals and/or families to address behavioral health concerns, enhance emotional functioning, and support progress toward treatment goals. This includes conducting comprehensive assessments, establishing diagnoses, and collaborating with clients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. The role also involves utilizing clinically appropriate modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT-informed, trauma-informed approaches) to reduce symptoms, improve coping skills, and promote overall wellbeing. This is a part-time, variable rate, non-exempt position with unlimited earning potential, compensated on a variable rate model designed to reward productivity while providing consistent earning opportunity through established referral volume.
Requirements
- Must be licensed in Virginia (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT).
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities
- Provide individual and family therapy using evidence-based treatment approaches.
- Conduct clinical assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and establish appropriate diagnoses.
- Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans that support client goals and progress.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and care teams to coordinate services, provide crisis support, and ensure quality care.
