About The Position

High Focus Centers provides individualized outpatient treatment for adults and adolescents experiencing mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders. Our programs are designed to give clients the support, structure, and clinical tools they need to make meaningful progress in their recovery. We are currently hiring an Outpatient Therapist to join our team in Northeast Philadelphia and provide clinical services within our Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). This is an opportunity to work closely with adults experiencing a variety of mental health concerns while providing both group and individual therapy in a collaborative outpatient environment. If you enjoy building therapeutic relationships, facilitating meaningful group discussions, and helping clients develop practical skills for managing their mental health, this role may be a great fit.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related Human Services field.
  • Completion of a clinical-based internship.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience providing outpatient behavioral health services.
  • Experience facilitating group therapy.
  • Experience working with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, or other mental health concerns.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT-informed interventions, ACT, or other cognitive and behavioral interventions.
  • Strong clinical, communication, organization, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate therapeutic groups within a Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program for adults.
  • Provide individual therapy and support clients in working toward their treatment goals.
  • Complete biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based interventions and psychoeducation focused on symptom management, coping skills, and recovery.
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and insurance reviews.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to provide coordinated, high-quality care.
  • Communicate with referral sources, families, and outside providers as appropriate.
  • Maintain an average of 25 billable sessions per week while supporting overall program needs.
  • Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development.
  • Contribute to a supportive, structured, and client-centered treatment environment.
