About The Position
Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire offers multiple inpatient and outpatient programs designed to meet the needs of every patient, no matter the issue. From our inpatient adult, to our outpatient partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs, our continuum of care can provide the treatment necessary to move our patients toward a more independent future. Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire is seeking a PRN Outpatient Therapist to provide therapeutic services to our patients attending our intensive hospitalization program (IOP) and partial hospitalization program (PHP). Requirements
- Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a psychiatric health care facility
- Direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills
- Strong clinical assessment skills
- Licensure in the State of Texas as a LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LPC-A, or LPC-S
- Successful completion of CPR and Handle With Care certification (certifications may be obtained during orientation).
