About The Position

Northeast Family Services is seeking caring and experienced Outpatient Therapists to join their growing New York team. They are expanding their Outpatient Mental Health Clinic and are currently seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LMHC) who is EMDR trained or EMDR certified to join their clinical team. This is a fee-for-service, hybrid position with flexibility and opportunity for growth. The ideal clinician is trauma-informed, grounded in evidence-based practice, and comfortable providing psychotherapy to a mixed population of children and adults within an outpatient setting. This is a hybrid opportunity in their New Rochelle and Bronx clinic locations. Language Differential is provided for Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Russian and Hindi.

Requirements

  • Active New York State LCSW or LMHC (required)
  • EMDR trained (Part 1 & Part II completed) or EMDR certified
  • Experience providing outpatient psychotherapy
  • Comfort working with children and adult populations
  • Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage caseload independently within productivity expectations
  • Access to a laptop or computer, secure internet, and a phone required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual outpatient psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing clinical care.
  • Utilize trauma-informed and evidence-based interventions, including EMDR to address trauma, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and related concerns.
  • Demonstrate clinical competency in working with trauma histories and complex presentations.
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation within the Electronic Health Record.
  • Participate in clinical supervision, consultation, and team meetings as required.
  • Adhere to ethical standards, agency policies, and New York State regulations.
