Outpatient RN – Infusion – Weekend & Float
About The Position
The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center nurse manages and provides care to patients and their families and directs and supervises nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team. The nurse assesses, plans, implements, coordinates, delegates, and evaluates nursing care in alignment with the professional practice model. The role supports positive patient outcomes, patient involvement in care planning, patient experience, staff engagement, quality, safety, and cost-effective care. This is a 0.90 FTE weekend and float position working four 9-hour shifts per week. The nurse is required to work every other weekend at weekend infusion clinics. Remaining weekday shifts are spent floating across infusion clinics to help cover staffing needs resulting from vacation, illness, or FML.
Requirements
- Degree in Nursing from a CCNE- or ACEN-accredited nursing program.
- Current Ohio nursing license or interim permit.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a relevant care setting is preferred.
