About The Position
Jefferson Radiology, an affiliate of Radiology Partners (RP), is seeking an Outpatient Registration Representative to join their team in the Greater Connecticut area. This role is responsible for the timely and effective scheduling of patients for multiple offices and modalities, including Mammography, Bone Density, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, MRI, CT, and Nuclear Medicine. The representative will have direct patient and referring physician contact, and is accountable for representing the practice in a pleasant and professional manner. Requirements
- Experience with scheduling and/or medical billing application preferred
- Excellent dictation, communication skills, and telephone manner
- Good understanding of ICD coding preferred
- Knowledge of medical insurance preferred
Responsibilities
- Responsible for timely and effective scheduling of patients for multiple offices and modalities
- Demonstrate an understanding of modalities offered at site location and hours of operations
- Direct patient and referring physician contact and accountable for always representing the practice in a pleasant and professional manner
