About The Position

This is a full-time position for a Registered Polysomnography Technician in the Sleep Center, working a 12-hour day shift in Albany, NY. The role involves performing various sleep testing procedures, identifying abnormalities, and adhering to department standards to produce high-quality records. The technician will also act as a resource person for the Licensed Polysomnography Technician.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited Polysomnography program with an AAS, registered (RPSGT) through the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists and a valid Polysysogram License in NYS.
OR Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program with an AAS and a valid Registered Respiratory Therapy License in NYS.
One to three years' experience in a sleep lab.
Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Ability to use applied technology in a clinical setting.

Nice To Haves

Sleep disorder specialist add-on or registered (RPSGT) through the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologist.

Responsibilities
