This position is in an outpatient surgery department covering outpatient surgical, GI, and pain cases. The case mix is approximately 25% outpatient surgery, 65% GI, and 10% pain. The RN collaborates with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate outpatient care. The role requires practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and knowledge, applying age- and population-specific standards for the assigned clinical setting and complying with applicable nursing practice laws, standards, and ethics.
