About The Position

Join our dynamic Maternal Fetal Medicine team and play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to high-risk obstetric patients! In this multifaceted role, you'll utilize your clinical expertise to perform electronic fetal monitoring (EFM), assist with in-office procedures, administer injections, and support patients through referrals, prior authorizations, and consult documentation. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with high-acuity patients in a fast paced, collaborative environment. EFM and NST (Non-Stress Test) Certification is highly desired as we are seeking nurses who are passionate about maternal health and committed to making a difference in the lives of expectant families. This position provides nursing care to patients and families along the health illness continuum in diverse health care settings while collaborating with the health care team. The RN is accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing. The RN delegates nursing tasks to licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) using the criteria written in the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree (Required)
  • BTLS - Basic Trauma Life Support - American Heart Association
  • CPR - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation - American Red Cross
  • RN - Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of Nursing

Nice To Haves

  • EFM and NST (Non-Stress Test) Certification is highly desired
  • Prefer 2 years’ experience in Women's Health setting; or other like ambulatory care setting
  • 3-5 years nursing experience

Responsibilities

  • Performs initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessment as applicable to the population and or individual.
  • Based on nursing diagnoses and collaborative problems, documents planned nursing interventions to achieve outcomes appropriate to patient needs.
  • Evaluates and documents response to nursing interventions and achievement of outcomes at appropriately determined intervals; as part of a multidisciplinary team, revises plan of care based on evaluative data.
  • Actively participates in process improvement activities to achieve targeted measures of clinical quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.
  • As a High Reliability Organization (HRO), responsibilities require focus on safety, quality and efficiency in performing job duties.
