About The Position

ChristianaCare's Primary Care at Linden Hill is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse II to deliver high-quality, safe, and evidence-based patient care. This role is responsible for achieving optimal patient outcomes through both independent practice and collaborative teamwork within the clinical setting. The Registered Nurse II will apply the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, contributing as a trusted and integral member of the healthcare team. Primary Care at Linden Hill provides comprehensive medical services for adults and children, including gynecology, women's health, vaccinations, physical examinations, preventive medicine, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions. The practice is staffed by physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, medical assistants, and medical office assistants, working together as a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering comprehensive, high-quality patient care in a collaborative and efficient healthcare environment. As part of ChristianaCare's Regional Strategy, this RN position will follow a rotating schedule and provide coverage across their Primary Care practices at Lantana, Linden Hill, and Limestone. The role may also include remote work from home following successful completion of orientation and training. The work schedule is Monday–Friday: 7:30am to 6pm, with rotating late-day coverage as needed. Additional details regarding the rotating schedule, regional travel, and remote work expectations will be discussed during the interview process.

Requirements

  • A graduate of a state approved or National League of Nursing accredited School of Nursing.
  • Registered Nurse licensure or eligible for licensure in the state Delaware, Maryland or Pennsylvania & New Jersey depending on location of employment.
  • Two years’ experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Physician office experience is preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
  • Compassionate, clinically skilled professionals dedicated to delivering safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care across all age groups.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (AND) will be considered with an agreement of completion of BSN in 3 years

Responsibilities

  • Provide age-appropriate, patient-centered care to pediatric through geriatric populations in both virtual and in-person settings, using strong clinical knowledge to assess and address patient needs.
  • Deliver services such as wellness visits, care management, point-of-care testing, and triaging patients.
  • Collaborate closely with providers to support examinations, procedures, and efficient clinic operations.
  • Serve as a key liaison among patients, providers, and staff, ensuring clear communication, coordinating workflow, and responding to urgent situations.
  • Support staff development through training and mentorship.
  • Participate in quality and compliance initiatives.

  • Maintain a strong focus on safety, patient education, and high-quality care delivery.
