As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Heart & Vascular Practice at the Dublin Medical Office Building, you’ll practice at the top of your license in a dynamic, team‑based general cardiology outpatient setting focused on comprehensive, longitudinal heart care. This practice focuses on ongoing heart care and management rather than in‑office procedures, allowing nurses to build strong, long‑term relationships with patients while partnering closely with providers and clinical staff. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive on clinical judgment, care coordination, and patient advocacy and who value building meaningful, ongoing relationships with patients managing chronic cardiovascular conditions. In close partnership with Physicians and Nurse Practitioners, the RN serves as a clinical anchor for the practice. In this role, the RN supports patient transitions and facilitate safe, efficient discharges by reinforcing care plans, medications, and follow‑up needs. Outside of clinic, you independently manage a high volume of patient communications, using your clinical expertise to triage symptoms, assess urgency, provide evidence‑based guidance, and coordinate next steps across the care continuum. This role emphasizes critical thinking over task‑based nursing. While procedures and injections are not part of the position, the RN’s impact is felt through advanced assessment, patient education, care coordination, and navigation of complex systems such as prior authorizations and follow‑up planning. You’ll play a key role in ensuring patients receive timely, appropriate care, often serving as their primary clinical point of contact between visits. Holter monitoring and other supportive tasks are handled collaboratively with Medical Assistants, allowing RNs to focus on high‑level nursing functions. You’ll join a positive, team‑oriented environment that values collaboration, support, and open communication. If you’re looking for a rewarding outpatient nursing role with work‑life balance, strong teamwork, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in cardiac care, this position is an excellent fit! Provides general nursing care to patients and families throughout the continuum of care in diverse health care settings. The RN is accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing. The RN delegates nursing tasks to licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) using the criteria written in the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. According to department policies and nursing care standards, provides professional nursing care services to patients. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care provided to assigned patients.
