About The Position

As an Outpatient Pulmonologist, you will join Mercy Medical Group (MMG), a large multi-specialty medical group in the Sacramento Region, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Midtown clinic in Downtown Sacramento, CA. You will provide comprehensive outpatient pulmonary care, with the unique opportunity to build your own practice while contributing significantly to organizational growth and making a tangible difference within the community. There is also an opportunity for limited inpatient work if desired. To be successful in this role, you will be an energetic and collaborative physician with a commitment to clinical excellence, practice autonomy, and a desire to innovate within a collegial and supportive environment. Requirements

Board-certified or board-eligible MD or DO in Pulmonary Medicine
Active or eligible license in the state of California
Passion for building programs and leading with clinical excellence
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills in a team-based, patient-focused environment

Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat a wide range of pulmonary conditions in an outpatient setting, including procedures.
Develop and manage individual patient care plans for chronic and acute respiratory illnesses.
Collaborate with a multi-specialty team to optimize patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.
Contribute to the growth and development of the Pulmonology Department and its services.
