About The Position

The Psychotherapist is a pivotal contributor in the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based clinical care to individuals participating in outpatient programs. This master’s-level clinician is responsible for providing individual and group therapy, conducting comprehensive intake assessments, and ensuring the timely completion of clinical documentation to maintain continuity of care. This a hybrid (three days onsite, two remote) is ideally suited for an experienced (2+ years post licensure), highly compassionate clinician with a robust foundation in protocol-driven, evidence-based therapeutic modalities and a commitment to assisting patients in managing acute mental health conditions within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical setting.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree from an accredited institution in Social Work
  • Current independent or associate clinical licensure in the state of California (LCSW)
  • Prior clinical experience in Intensive Outpatient (IOP), Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), hospital, or medical center environments is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatments for mood, anxiety, and trauma-related disorders.
  • Proficiency in utilizing telehealth platforms and conducting remote clinical work.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and clinical documentation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing acute psychiatric presentations, including crisis intervention and safety planning.
  • Ability to work autonomously while effectively contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver individual and group psychotherapy services to patients in outpatient settings, utilizing empirically supported treatment approaches.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to formulate and execute individualized treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in strict compliance with all legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
  • Participate actively in scheduled clinical supervision, consultation sessions, and team meetings.
  • Adhere to structured therapy protocols and programmatic models of care to ensure clinical consistency and excellence.
  • Respond effectively to clinical crises and strictly observe established risk-management procedures.
