This position provides outpatient psychiatric care within the Adult Outpatient Psychiatry Clinic at Grady Memorial Hospital, with a portion of effort dedicated to the Nia Project. The role includes clinical care, teaching, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team. The Nia Project, based at Grady Health System and led by Nadine Kaslow within Emory’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, is a nationally recognized, culturally responsive program that serves African American women with histories of interpersonal violence and suicidality. The program provides trauma-informed clinical care, community-based support, and participates in federally funded research aimed at advancing equitable mental health interventions. While the majority of effort is dedicated to outpatient clinical care, the Nia Project component requires demonstrated interest or experience in culturally responsive, trauma-informed care for underserved populations.
