About The Position

Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Psychiatrist for Family Care Health Centers in St. Louis, Missouri. This role involves providing comprehensive outpatient psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, and ongoing behavioral healthcare for children and adults. The psychiatrist will develop individualized treatment plans, collaborate closely with primary care providers and other healthcare professionals, and provide crisis intervention and evidence-based psychiatric care. The position requires maintaining accurate documentation using Epic electronic medical records and practicing within an integrated Federally Qualified Health Center focused on expanding behavioral healthcare access in underserved communities. Candidates can choose between a traditional five-day schedule or a flexible four-day workweek.

Requirements

• MD or DO with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry.
• Active Missouri medical license or ability to obtain licensure.
• Comfortable treating both pediatric and adult patient populations.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and patient-centered care skills.

• Experience in outpatient psychiatry or integrated behavioral health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, and ongoing behavioral healthcare for children and adults.
• Develop individualized treatment plans while collaborating closely with primary care providers, psychologists, social workers, nurses, and integrated behavioral health teams.
• Provide crisis intervention, behavioral health education, and evidence-based psychiatric care within a collaborative outpatient practice.
• Maintain accurate documentation utilizing Epic electronic medical records.
• Practice within an integrated Federally Qualified Health Center committed to expanding behavioral healthcare access throughout underserved communities.
