About The Position

Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring an Outpatient Psychiatrist in Altoona, Pennsylvania. This is an outpatient-only psychiatry role serving adults and children within a mission-driven behavioral health organization focused on long-term patient outcomes. The role emphasizes evidence-based psychiatric care within a collaborative clinical environment, offering a fully supported outpatient setting designed to prioritize continuity of care and provider balance. This position provides an opportunity to build long-term patient relationships in an established behavioral health program.

Requirements

• MD or DO REQUIRED
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry REQUIRED
• Active Pennsylvania medical license REQUIRED
• DEA REQUIRED
• Ability to treat adult and pediatric outpatient populations REQUIRED

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient psychiatric evaluations and medication management
• Treat adult and pediatric patient populations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary behavioral health team
• Maintain evidence-based treatment planning and continuity of care
• Support long-term behavioral health outcomes within community-focused setting
