Outpatient Psychiatrist (Child or Adult)

LifeStance Health•Medfield, MA

About The Position

LifeStance is hiring an outpatient psychiatrist specializing in adult or child and adolescent psychiatry. Psychiatrists focus on patient care while dedicated teams manage billing, technology, and administrative tasks, with ongoing support and consultation from local clinical leadership. The role offers in-person or hybrid practice models, flexible scheduling, and the ability to set scheduled hours and appointment lengths. The Care Matching model allows psychiatrists to build a caseload aligned with their interests and expertise, and the practice welcomes clinicians who integrate psychotherapy into their work. Psychiatrists collaborate with therapists, neuropsychologists, and psychiatric nurse practitioners in a collegial environment. Professional learning resources include regular Grand Rounds, weekly consultation hours with clinical leadership, a CME stipend, and opportunities for training in TMS and other innovative therapies. Compensated opportunities to supervise newly graduated PMHNPs are available. The practice provides well-appointed offices, an EMR system with electronic prescribing, peer consultation groups, and support staff who assist with credentialing, insurance authorizations, scheduling, payment collection, and other clinical and administrative functions. This is an outpatient weekday role that may be part-time or full-time. Compensation is described as a productivity-based model of $300,000–$373,000 per year. Locations are available throughout Massachusetts.
