About The Position

Serves as the Outpatient, DUI and MAT program supervisor, which will involve working directly and collaboratively with Outpatient and MAT managers, Health Services Administrators, clinical line staff, correctional staff and Offender Services to support the overall program needs. The Outpatient and MAT Supervisor will provide direct clinical and operational supervision to the Outpatient and MAT managers and offer clinical oversight of all clinical staffings, training, SUD internships and facility concerns. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide clinical and administrative supervision of the Outpatient, DUI and MAT services managers and clinicians to ensure the effective delivery of Outpatient and MAT services. This position will approve sick and vacation leave requests, complete performance management program documentation, determine staff schedules, and all other duties associated with administrative supervision. General Outpatient and MAT program direction is provided by this position. Coordinate and collect data for general treatment activities. Provide summary reports as needed to the Administrator of the Substance Use Disorder Program. Develop core policies and procedures for Outpatient and MAT programs within CDOC. Provides clinical guidance to interns in collaboration with the Therapeutic Community (TC) Supervisor and Internship Coordinator, including treatment recommendations, service coordination, and clinical supervision. Offers case consultation to Outpatient and MAT managers, clinicians, and interns. Oversees and evaluates Outpatient and MAT staff performance for competency and efficiency, recommending hiring or corrective action with accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with BHA standards to maintain quality of care. Manages daily operations, including payroll, problem-solving, and administrative tasks, while providing both clinical and administrative supervision of staff activities. Frequent travel required.

Requirements

  • Applicant must have at least nine (9) years of professional experience providing direct behavioral health or managing patient care in a clinic that provided mental and/or behavioral health services.
  • Applicant must possess one or more of the following current, and valid licenses from the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies: Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (CSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Psychologist, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT).
  • Applicant must have one (1) year of licensed or license candidacy experience (e.g, Addiction Counselor Candidate) with substance use and/or mental health.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Drivers must maintain a valid, non-restricted Colorado driver license, obey traffic laws, and be able to safely operate a motor vehicle.
  • Possess a high school diploma or GED.
  • Have NO felony convictions.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Applicants must have valid U.S. work authorization at the time of application.

Nice To Haves

  • At least one year of supervisory experience at a level which provided oversight of a mental and/or behavioral health program.
  • Experience providing operational oversight of a multi-disciplinary health care program that provided mental and/or behavioral health services.
  • Fiscal and budgetary experience.
  • Experience in a correctional environment.
