About The Position

Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush (MOR) is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist to join their rehabilitation team at the Joliet, IL clinic. MOR is a nationally recognized leader in comprehensive orthopedic services, with its Orthopedic Program at Rush University Medical Center ranked Top 10 in the nation by U.S. News and World Report. Founded in 2003, MOR comprises internationally-renowned Orthopedic and Spine surgeons known for pioneering advancements in technology and surgical techniques. The Physical Therapists at MOR are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care programs aimed at increasing, maintaining, or restoring function, minimizing or preventing disability, and assisting patients in reaching their maximum performance levels.

Requirements

Bachelor’s, Masters or Doctorate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program
Current State of Illinois Physical Therapy license (or willingness to apply)
CPR Certified

Responsibilities

Evaluates patient and gathers appropriate information to determine accurate clinical diagnoses and treatment plan.
Establishes appropriate, functional and objective goals based upon clinical examination.
Devise detailed treatment and care plans for patients.
Provides exceptional patient care and service.
The ability to maintain friendly, cordial relations with all clients and employees; maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that results in positive and respectful working relationships.
Cultivate relationships with patients and the community.
Provide continuous communication with referring physicians and other referral sources to ensure a consistent level of care.
Maintain patient charts, clinical logs and checklists necessary for compliance.
Maintains patient confidentiality regarding medical records per company policies and procedures and assures compliance with all HIPAA guidelines.
Communicates well in a professional setting.
Perform additional duties as required.
