Outpatient Physical Therapist - Physical Rehab
About The Position
Saint Michael's Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist for Physical Rehab. The hospital is a 358-bed regional tertiary-care, teaching, and research center in Newark, New Jersey, accredited by The Joint Commission. The role provides medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services to restore function and prevent disability in patients with musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary, and/or integumentary disorders. The Physical Therapist I performs duties in accordance with Physical Therapy and hospital policy, as well as applicable state and federal regulatory, licensing, and accrediting requirements. This is a temporary position on the day shift. The estimated compensation range, including wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $36.78 to $53.50. The final starting compensation is determined during applicant selection and may depend on factors including skills, applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, master's, doctorate, or certificate degree in Physical Therapy.
- Current state Physical Therapy license.
- Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
Responsibilities
- Provide medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services to restore function and prevent disability in patients with musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary, and/or integumentary disorders.
- Perform responsibilities in accordance with Physical Therapy and hospital policy and state and federal regulatory, licensing, and accrediting requirements.
