About The Position

NovaCare Rehabilitation/Rothman Orthopedics in Sewell, New Jersey, is seeking a part-time or per diem Physical Therapist to provide steady or as-needed coverage in an outpatient orthopedic setting. The clinic treats a diverse caseload ranging from teens through older adults and offers orthopedic, sports, vestibular, and concussion specialty services, as well as ACL and fall prevention programs. The role offers an opportunity to work closely with orthopedic surgeons in South Jersey.

The listed schedule is 20 hours per week, including two evenings per week. Compensation is $40.00–$55.00 per hour, based on experience. Part-time and per diem clinicians have access to online and in-person continuing education courses, a company-matching 401(k) after completing 1,000 hours in a calendar year, and opportunities for internal movement among the company’s centers.

Requirements

• Graduate from a Physical Therapy school accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
• Hold a valid state Physical Therapist license.
• CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience treating patients in outpatient orthopedics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete and maintain required corporate and clinical services training and comply with state, local, and federal regulations.
• Evaluate and treat patients, direct treatment, and document treatment.
• Maintain open and respectful communication with colleagues, physicians, patients, family members, and third-party payors.
• Attend and participate in center meetings as directed by the center manager.
