About The Position

Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush (MOR) is seeking a part-time Outpatient Physical Therapist to join their rehabilitation team at the Joliet, IL clinic. MOR is nationally recognized for its comprehensive orthopedic services, with its program at Rush University Medical Center ranked Top 10 in the nation by U.S. News and World Report. The physical therapists at MOR are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care programs aimed at increasing, maintaining, or restoring function, minimizing disability, and helping patients reach their maximum performance levels.

Requirements

Bachelor’s, Masters or Doctorate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program
Current State of Illinois Physical Therapy license (or willingness to apply)
CPR Certified

Responsibilities

Evaluates patient and gathers appropriate information to determine accurate clinical diagnoses and treatment plan.
Establishes appropriate, functional and objective goals based upon clinical examination.
Devise detailed treatment and care plans for patients.
Provides exceptional patient care and service.
Maintains friendly, cordial relations with all clients and employees; maintains a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that results in positive and respectful working relationships.
Cultivates relationships with patients and the community.
Provide continuous communication with referring physicians and other referral sources to ensure a consistent level of care.
Maintain patient charts, clinical logs and checklists necessary for compliance.
Maintains patient confidentiality regarding medical records per company policies and procedures and assures compliance with all HIPAA guidelines.
Communicates well in a professional setting.
Perform additional duties as required.
