About The Position
An established outpatient orthopedic clinic in Belfair, WA is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a collaborative, patient-focused team. This position focuses on outpatient musculoskeletal (MSK) care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, with the opportunity to grow into telehealth services. You’ll work in 45-minute treatment sessions, allowing for quality care and strong patient relationships. Full-time PTAs (30+ hours/week) are eligible for full benefits. PRN opportunities are also available.
Requirements
- Active (or eligible) Washington State PTA license
- Current CPR certification
- Outpatient or orthopedic experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable with EMR and digital platforms
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient orthopedic therapy sessions under PT supervision
- Implement individualized treatment plans
- Assist with post-surgical and musculoskeletal rehabilitation
- Deliver telehealth therapy sessions (training provided)
- Educate patients on mobility, strengthening, and injury prevention
- Document patient progress accurately in EMR
- Collaborate closely with Physical Therapists and clinical team
