This role as a Clinical Dietitian involves providing Medical Nutrition Therapy and education to patients in a specialty area. You will work with a collaborative team to improve patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care.

Requirements

  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible
  • Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
  • Specialty certification when required

Nice To Haves

  • Two years of work experience in specialty preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients in a designated specialty area to promote recovery and improve health outcomes.
  • Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community.
  • Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care.
  • Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence.
  • Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals.
  • Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable.
  • Work with patients in a large outpatient cancer center receiving cancer-related treatments.
  • Teach survivorship classes.
  • Work with the cancer services team on QAPI and patient outcome improvement projects.
