Outpatient (in ALs & ILs) – Occupational Therapist (PRN) Territory: Portage and Northern Summit Counties Business Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Patriot is veteran-owned and family-operated. Requirements

Must be a graduate of an Occupational Therapy school approved by the Council of Medical Education of the A.M.A. in collaboration with the American Occupational Therapy Association
Must be licensed by the state
Must have at least one year of institutional experience
Must have a criminal background check
Must have current CPR (BLS) certification

Nice To Haves

Preferably should be a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association

Responsibilities

Assist the physician in evaluating the patient's level of function by applying diagnostic and prognostic procedures
Conduct initial and ongoing comprehensive assessments of the patient's needs
Assure that the physician's orders are appropriate and discusses necessary changes
Teach, supervise, and counsel the family and patient in the total Occupational Therapy program
Communicate with the physician on a regular basis regarding patient's status, obtaining additional orders, if necessary
