We are looking for a motivated LVN to join our team.

Requirements

  • Current LVN license in the state of practice is required
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ clinical experience in critical care, interventional radiology, or medical/surgical required
  • IV certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word required
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to listen attentively and to communicate information clearly and effectively
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, collaborative, and relationship-building skills; ability to interact positively with teammates at all levels
  • Demonstrated strengths in organizational, attention to detail, follow-through, analytical, reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated time management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities according to clinical standards; high degree of initiative
  • Self-directed; able to function independently and as a member of a team, and to foster a positive work environment
  • Demonstrated exactness in attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to present and document work according to standards required
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain absolute confidentiality concerning patient information
  • Ability to remain calm and act appropriately in emergency or life-threatening situations

  • Fluent in the written and verbal skills necessary to perform successfully the essential functions, duties, and responsibilities of the position
  • Ability to read, speak, and write English with clarity of expression sufficient to communicate technical and complex concepts to teammates, patients, and patient family members in clear and easily understandable terms required
  • The ability to understand clinical/medical vocabulary written or spoken in English is required.

Responsibilities

  • Pre & post op patients, including IV insertion, pre & post op paperwork, patient education, and discharge instructions.
  • Monitor patient vitals (HR, BP, O2Sat, EKG) during procedures
  • Assist in venouse procedure room preparation; maintain sterile techniques in the procedure room; assist with pre- and post-procedures, including assessment of discharge
  • Assist in recovery room patient care following vascular procedures and venous procedures
  • Assist in patient bay turnover
  • Gather patient clinical information prior to procedures, including patient assessments and patient history
  • Keep clear and accurate patient medical records
  • Assist the inventory manager in maintaining the inventory count
  • Attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training as needed
  • Know, understand, and follow teammate guidelines, employment policies, and procedures
  • Consistent, regular, punctual attendance as scheduled is an essential responsibility of this position
  • Oversee and manage the Environment of Care reporting binder for our sites' accreditation
