About The Position

As an Outpatient Infusion Nurse at CHI St Vincent, you will play a crucial role in supporting patients during a challenging period, particularly those with cancer or the potential threat of cancer. This position also involves treating patients with various medical needs who do not require surgery. Successful candidates are characterized by their knowledge and passion, and their ability to build trust with patients and families by anticipating needs, observing closely, and listening carefully. The role requires strong collaboration with the surgical and nursing team to communicate details effectively while being attentive to the emotional and informational needs of the patient. While previous experience in an orthopedic unit is not required, enthusiasm for helping others is mandatory. Requirements

Unencumbered license to practice as an RN in the State of Arkansas
6 months of acute care experience is required (new graduates or nurses who have never worked in an acute care setting are hired through our residency training program)
BLS through the American Heart Association is required

Nice To Haves

Previous oncology/chemo experience is preferred, but not required
