Outpatient Exercise Physiologist, Healthy Aging Center Clinic (Registry)
About The Position
Responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized exercise and wellness programs for patients and clients. This role focuses on improving cardiovascular health, physical fitness, mobility, strength, endurance, and overall wellness through evidence-based exercise interventions. Collaborate with physicians, rehabilitation staff, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care and promote healthy lifestyle changes. Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations. Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict. Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned. Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency. Must comply with all Benefis Health System’s organization policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or related field required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations.
- Ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in clinical exercise physiology, cardiac rehabilitation, sports medicine, wellness, or related healthcare setting preferred.
- Certified Exercise Physiologist (ACSM-EP) preferred.
