About The Position

CenterPointe is seeking an experienced and driven mental health professional to join their outpatient services team. This role involves providing pivotal, industry-leading behavioral health services to individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges. The counselor will work with a team of professionals, conduct comprehensive assessments, provide individual and group therapy, and develop and adapt treatment plans to meet the evolving needs of clients. The position requires maintaining a high standard of care in a dual-diagnosis, long-term treatment program and making a significant positive impact on the lives of those receiving services.

Requirements

  • At least 21 years of age
  • Experience working with persons with co-occurring issues
  • Active PLADC or LADC licenses in the State of Nebraska

Responsibilities

  • Work positively as a team member within the outpatient services.
  • See individuals in the outpatient setting.
  • Utilize experience and education to expertly assess and treat program participants.
  • Work with the individuals in service and the treatment team to continuously adapt each individual's treatment plan to reflect his or her changing needs, strengths, desires, and preferences.
  • Conduct initial comprehensive assessments, ongoing individual and group therapy sessions, and complete associated documentation.
  • Maintain our agency's high standard of care in working with consumers in a dual-diagnosis, long-term treatment program.
