About The Position

The Outpatient Counselor will monitor and track clients' progress of assigned caseload and provide individual and group outpatient counseling services for an assigned caseload of clients. This role receives direct supervision from the Manager, Outpatient Mental Health.

Requirements

• M.A./M.S./M.Ed. in the Social Sciences, Healthcare, or a related field
• At least 2 years experience in the MH/MR field
• Good communication skills
• Good writing (documentation) skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of mental health systems and supports

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in an outpatient setting helpful
