About The Position

Conifer Park is looking for a Counselor/Therapist, I or II to join our Outpatient Team in Glens Falls, NY. As a Counselor/Therapist with Conifer Park you will function as part of an interdisciplinary team and provide comprehensive psychosocial assessment and diagnostic services to patients in an outpatient setting. Provide process oriented & didactic group counseling services and individual, family or crisis counseling to a caseload.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Chemical Dependency or related field with 1 year of applicable experience (for Counselor role).
• Current CASAC-T or CASAC Certification (for Counselor role).
• CPR Certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field, with one-year related experience (for Therapist I role).
• CASAC or Qualified Health Professional (QHP per OASAS 800 Regulations) (for Therapist I role).
• Master’s Degree in related field (for Therapist II role).
• Current LMHC or LMSW with one year of experience (for Therapist II role).
• Background checks, pre-employment & drug screenings required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychosocial assessment and diagnostic services to patients in an outpatient setting.
• Provide process oriented & didactic group counseling services.
• Provide individual, family or crisis counseling to a caseload.
