Outpatient Counselor - Therapist
About The Position
Conifer Park is seeking a Counselor, Therapist, I or II to join their Outpatient Team in Liverpool (Syracuse), NY. This role involves functioning as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive psychosocial assessment and diagnostic services to patients in an outpatient setting. The position also includes providing process-oriented and didactic group counseling services, as well as individual, family, or crisis counseling to a caseload. A sign-on bonus is available for Qualifying Health Professionals (QHP), with the final amount dependent on Full Time Equivalent Status for the selected shift, up to a maximum of $3,000 paid at three intervals (90 days, 1 year, and 2 years). Eligible QHPs for the sign-on bonus include CASAC, LMSW, LMHC, or LCSW.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in chemical dependency or related field with 1 year of applicable experience (for Counselor role).
- Current CASAC-T or CASAC Certification (for Counselor role).
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with one year of related experience (for Therapist I role).
- Master’s Degree in a related field (for Therapist II role).
- Current CASAC, LMHC or LMSW with one year of experience (for Therapist II role).
- Qualified Health Professional (QHP per OASAS 800 Regulations) (for Therapist I and II roles).
- CPR Certification required within 6 months of hire.
- Background checks, pre-employment & drug screenings required.
Responsibilities
