About The Position
Conifer Park is seeking a Counselor/Therapist, I or II to join their Outpatient Team in Schenectady, NY. This role involves functioning as part of an interdisciplinary team, providing comprehensive psychosocial assessment and diagnostic services to patients in an outpatient setting. The position also includes providing process-oriented and didactic group counseling services, as well as individual, family, or crisis counseling to a caseload.
Requirements
- Counselor Requirements: Associates Degree in Chemical Dependency or related field with 1 year of applicable experience
- Counselor Requirements: Current CASAC-T or CASAC Certification
- Counselor Requirements: CPR Certification required within 6 months of hire
- Therapist I Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in related field, with one year related experience
- Therapist I Requirements: CASAC or Qualified Health Professional (QHP per OASAS 800 Regulations)
- Therapist I Requirements: CPR Certification required within 6 months of hire
- Therapist II Requirements: Master’s Degree in related field
- Therapist II Requirements: Current LMHC or LMSW with one year of experience
- Therapist II Requirements: CASAC or Qualified Health Professional (QHP per OASAS 800 Regulations)
- Therapist II Requirements: CPR Certification required within 6 months of hire
Responsibilities
