About The Position

The Outpatient Therapist will participate in a full continuum of care by facilitating group therapy, individual therapy, assessment, and case management, as well as, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Our therapists plan, conduct, and improve intensive groups, relapse prevention groups, and individual therapy sessions for patients. This role works independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of an integrating team. We are a compassionate family of care based out of Kokomo, Indiana since 2020. Our integrated services cater to individuals in recovery, offering comprehensive support at every stage of the addiction recovery cycle. We are growing and expanding throughout Central Indiana, focusing on top tier therapeutic treatment, residential recovery, and sober living services. Requirements

  • Active state licensure – LAC, LACa, LCAC, LCACa, LCSW, LMHC, LMHCa, LMFT, or MSW, LSW
  • Competency with Google products
  • Comfortable working with electronic health records
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Commitment to drug-free lifestyle
  • Authorization to work in the US is required

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of experience in a clinical role preferred
  • Experience in Substance use disorder field preferred
  • Passion for the human condition.
  • Effective and efficient evidenced based therapy.
  • Patience and willingness to meet clients where they are at.
  • Team oriented with a desire to grow with a team and service line.
  • Personal passion or interest in substance abuse issues strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate group therapy, individual therapy, assessment, and case management.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
  • Plan, conduct, and improve intensive groups, relapse prevention groups, and individual therapy sessions for patients.
  • Select appropriate treatment modalities and carry them out in individual sessions.
  • Assist with all discharge planning patient needs including FMLA, Short Term Disability, and Sober Housing needs.
  • Attend Treatment Team meetings as needed.
  • Work cooperatively and collaboratively with everyone, especially on the treatment teams.
  • Work cooperatively with all levels of employees, management and external agencies.
  • Do additional duties as assigned.
  • Report directly to the Clinical Director.
