About The Position

Devereux Pennsylvania Children's Services is seeking a full-time Outpatient Clinical Supervisor to provide clinical supervision to clinicians and students, and to conduct direct outpatient therapy for community individuals. This role involves ensuring clinicians adhere to state/county guidelines and organizational standards of care, while also overseeing the safe and effective delivery of services and documentation. The supervisor will utilize evidence-based models in direct therapy and manage documentation related to program participation, charts, referrals, medication, case management, and progress notes. Additionally, the position includes responsibilities in interviewing, orienting, and supervising employees, acting as a liaison with various stakeholders, attending meetings, overseeing evidence-based programs and their fidelity, and managing the evaluation process and staffing of cases. The Devereux Pennsylvania Children’s Services (DPACS) center supports children, adolescents, and young adults with a range of diagnoses including autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and behavioral, emotional, and psychiatric challenges. The center offers various services such as psychiatric residential treatment, acute inpatient psychiatric care, assessment services, community-based mental health and employment training, social skills training, and approved private school educational services. A core philosophy is Program-Wide Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PW-PBIS) to foster positive behaviors and create supportive environments. Each year, over 1,000 children and adolescents receive specialized care aimed at equipping them with the necessary skills to thrive in their communities.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Human Service discipline.
  • DBT Experience required.
  • Licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT)
  • 3 years’ behavioral health care experience.

  • Previous Supervisory Experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical and administrative supervision to outpatient clinicians to assure clinicians are following state/county guidelines as well as maintaining administrative oversight of services delivered.
  • Ensure that clinicians comply with all regulatory, organizational and center standards of care.
  • Ensures that safe and effective delivery and documentation of resiliency services for all individuals in outpatient program.
  • Provide direct clinical services utilizing evidence-based models.
  • Ensure proper documentation of program participation, record keeping for charts and/or referrals including medication, case management, treatment plans and progress notes.
  • Interview, select, orient and supervise employee or consults and recommends termination in conjunction with Supervisors, Administrators, and People Operations.
  • Serves in a liaison capacity communicating with staff, individuals, inter-agency team, school representatives, guardians/family and other members of the treatment team as indicated.
  • Attends required meetings including inter-agency meetings, consultations meeting, and county meetings.
  • Oversee at least one Evidence based program and maintain the fidelity of the program.
  • Oversee the evaluation process and staffing of cases.
