Requirements

MD, DO or foreign equivalent
Board eligibility or certification in Psychiatry (APBN)
Ability to obtain an unrestricted medical license & DEA from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania prior to employment
Commitment to excellence in patient care, medical education, and interdisciplinary collaboration

Responsibilities

With case management support, deliver short-term medication management and transition-of-care services for patients discharged from the behavioral health units at Temple Episcopal Campus.
Maintain a panel of adult patients for ongoing care.
Teach and supervise psychiatry residents and other trainees in the outpatient setting, with an emphasis on psychotherapy, combined treatment approaches, and specialized medication management.
Participate in collaborative care initiatives through the department's integrated behavioral health programs.
