Rolling Hills Hospital is expanding our dynamic team and seeking a versatile and compassionate professional to serve in a dual-capacity role as an Admissions Counselor & Adolescent IOP Therapist. This unique position offers the opportunity to work across two vital departments—Admissions and Outpatient Services—providing both clinical assessments and therapeutic support to adolescents in our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). Key Responsibilities: Admissions Counselor Respond promptly to inquiry and referral calls, walk-ins, and scheduled assessments. Conduct clinical assessments to determine appropriate level of care. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate admissions. Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support as needed. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Adolescent IOP Therapist Facilitate group therapy sessions for adolescent clients in the IOP program. Develop and implement psychoeducational and therapeutic group activities. Build and maintain therapeutic relationships with adolescent clients and their families. Monitor client progress and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Provide crisis intervention and support during group sessions as needed. Position Schedule: Monday-Friday 2:00pm - 10:00pm This position is funded through December 2025 as part of the Psychiatric Hospital Grant with potential expansion through December 2026. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field required
  • Licensure or license-eligible in the state of Tennessee (LMSW, LCSW, LPC-MHSP, etc.)
  • Current Tennessee Driver’s License
  • Current HWC and CPR Certification (training provided)
  • strong assessment skills required

  • excellent telephone etiquette and tact
  • ability to interact effectively with persons of widely diverse roles, backgrounds, cultures, and socio-economic classes, those in crisis or resistant or negative toward organization
  • effective oral and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in psychiatric evaluation, triage, and crisis stabilization preferred
  • Understanding of EMTALA guidelines, mandatory screening agent usage, HIPAA regulations, and third-party payer knowledge preferred
