This role performs functions associated with patient information processing for ambulatory care visits. It involves completing tasks of reception, registration, charge reconciliation, appointment scheduling, eRecord task management, In Basket management, and Telephone encounter management using the electronic medical record and patient access and revenue cycle systems. The position ensures patient satisfaction with information processing and reception service, requiring accuracy to generate a billable service for the provider. The representative is responsible for completing functions accurately, efficiently, and in a customer-friendly manner. They may also act as a resource to new staff.
