About The Position
Under Food and Beverage Management, the incumbent will serve food as well as take payment from guests. The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. First preference in hiring, training, promoting and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements. As part of Seminole Gaming’s employment process, final candidates will be required to obtain gaming licensure by completing a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations, prior to an offer being extended. These background checks may include, but are not limited to: Credit Check, Criminal Background Check, Drug Screen.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent education/work experience
- Great customer service skills
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to continuously maneuver around the concession area and property, often standing for long hours
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds and be able to bend, reach and stoop on a limited basis
Responsibilities
- Greets guest in casino in a positive manner
- Obtains food and beverage orders from guests
- Prepares food and beverages
- Serves food and beverage orders to guests throughout Casino and Bingo Hall
- Cashier responsibilities
- Stocks concession area
- Promotes positive guest/employee relations
- Other assignments as directed
