About The Position

Under the direction of the Pool Bar Asst. Manager, the server is responsible for serving both food and beverage to guests throughout the pool bar and surrounding area ensuring a positive guest experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum one (1) year of high volume food service.
  • Must be able to carry trays that weigh a minimum of 10lbs. on one arm.
  • Ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable entertainment experience.
  • Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities in an effort to play a role in the achievement of organizational goals.
  • Must present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional appearance.
  • Must be comfortable with wearing short shorts and top that reveals abdomen area.
  • Must be able to work in various weather conditions including but not limited to; rain, heat, and cold weather.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
  • The department operates from sunup to sundown; management expectation is that you must be able to work any shift including weekends and holidays.
  • Schedules: Start times: 10:00am & 12:00pm On Call status team members are scheduled 2 or 3 days per week. Part Time status team members are scheduled 3 or 4 days per week. Full Time status team members are scheduled 5 days per week. During daylight savings which starts in November, all team members will work from 10:00am-6:00pm. It is mandatory that new hires have complete availability for all shifts during their first two weeks of training.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and serves guests in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Take guest orders, serve food, and drinks.
  • Is familiar with all menu specifications and abbreviations.
  • Adheres to food & beverage policies, procedures, state liquor laws and all related manual material.
  • Collect various forms of payment in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Knowledgeable of restaurant (ordering) systems; expediting systems.
  • Communicates with kitchen expeditor; checks order duplicates for correctness; communicates discrepancies to the expeditor.
  • Completes all set-up and closing duties in a timely fashion.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
  • Handles and solves any concerns and questions customers may have or relays guest complaints/compliments to the appropriate Assistant Manager on duty.
  • Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
  • Perform other assignments as directed.
